Note to Self: Don't watch the first three episodes of Buffy right before bed.

Even if it is a series in which you can't possibly take the monsters seriously, your brain is still working away in the night ... and the dreams can be horrendous.

  1. Love it! Is one of them the episode with the dummy? That one was really scary.

  2. This was the very first season ... just beginning to overcome my dislike of Sarah Michelle Gellar enough to watch.

The first two were vampires and the third was a witch. Nothing like a dummy was there ... but that sounds like something I'd like!

  3. I just bought myself the boxed set of the series. But I really wanted "Angel."

  4. Yes, Buffy really made me appreciate all the experience Joss Whedon had when he began Angel. I miss it!

  5. Similarly, I would not recommend watching ANY episodes of the Walking Dead after 8pm. Though a very good series, you'll be dreaming about zombies for the rest of your life.

  6. I dunno about Buffy; it's those repressed memories of THE SOUND OF MUSIC that make me wake up sweating and suffering cardiac arrhythmia at 0-dark-thirty.
